Somewhere between checking my emails..updating myspace...and chatting on facebook..I get lost and forget about blogging! haha :D
So about a couple weeks ago I turned 21 years old! Wow that is old...haha just kiddin'! And not only did I turn 21 but it was spent all day in Austraila!! Sydney/Katoomba, Aus.! It was amazing! We had spaghetti on toast, Devinshire tea with a jam plastered scone...in the evening we had meat pies with a flat white to add on the side! What an amazing birthday! Dec. 30th my grandparents, our friend Jerry, my brother Nate and I left for Australia.! We left the 30th and arrived the 1st of January...so somewhere in between flights we spent New Years together! haha :D
Probably sleeping...
ANYWAY..the main reason we went to Australia was for this camp "Southern Cross Kids' Camp" for abused children. Our dear friend Carolyn Boyd had invited us to be apart of it, so we excitedly got the tickets and hopped on board!
I had never been a buddy at a camp before..so I was nervous. I had heard some horror stories from previous buddies and wasn't sure if that would be me at the end of the week...haha
Praise God, because it wasn't! haha But the truth is...when it's all said and done..all that matters is those children and how you may have responded to the criticism or the hurtful remarks...how did you show God's love...did you listen to them...did you care about them...did you go out of your way to make them feel special...? I think all of these things are important...
God shows us love even when we push away...Even when we say hurtful things...even when we call Him names or refuse to listen too HIm...God cares about all of our situations...His love is beyond our imagination...
God really worked on my heart in that one week of camp. I will never forget my camper Skye. She was hard to open up at first..but God really did a transformation in her heart and once she broke that first smile...my heart skipped a beat! I was blessed.
Another thing that was so great about being involved in this camp was the unity and peace of the team working together...there was this bond that was strong and we held each other up...I loved working with the girls in my cabin "Mec-Tsyn and JoAnne", they were anointed woman of God..full of the Spirit and a huge encouragment too me! We had soo much fun! Also just the way that Rachel and Grace continued showing love and pursuing their campers even when it was tough...They are an inspiration to all of us..I believe.
They never stopped..they never quit! Just as God never quits on us. They probably thought about it..in fact I know they did, but they didn't give in! They could say what Paul says "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race I have kept the faith!" (2 Tim. 4:7)
THere is no way that you can go through a camp like that and not come out different...YOu will not be the same once you leave that place...Your heart will be expanded...your patience tested...haha :D but it's true..and your Fruit of the SPirit!
I just really appreciate Carolyn..Colleen..and all of those who put that camp together and had the heart to do it, and obeyed the will of God! Thank you. I love you all! :D Blessings,

From Sister,
Rache*

What God is Speaking...

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/SNCJQ28HtkI/AAAAAAAAADY/ooy8AH9nqio/s320/Photo+406.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246844488605218370" />
Usually every Tuesday and Thursday morning Nate, Marv and I have prayer and worship... Today, As we were worshiping, I felt this heaviness on my chest, more intense than usual..it was heavy! I usually move around a lot when I worship and kind of dance in place? If you want to call it that?! haha Anyway, and I couldn't move because the heaviness was so intense. I couldn't even open my mouth to sing because there was this intense reverence and Awe in the room. I knew God wanted me to listen...He spoke to me two things:
1. With patience comes suffering and endurance which produces strength
2. Desperate people change things

Those were the two things He spoke...
I shared these with Nate and Marv and then they had me pray. Nathan shared how he was reading yesturday in the Bible about Elijah in

1 Kings 18:41-46 (New International Version)
41 And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain." 42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
43 "Go and look toward the sea," he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
"There is nothing there," he said.
Seven times Elijah said, "Go back."
44 The seventh time the servant reported, "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea."
So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, 'Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.' "
45 Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. 46 The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

WOW!!! He continued praying even though results weren't happening immediately!!! He endured through the suffering of waiting and in all of that his faith was strengthened and his faith produced results!!! WOW!!! LET's Do that Celeste!

Continue praying and waiting upon the Lord! All of these things He has promised you will come to past because we do not put our trust in man but in a God who is faithful to those He has promised! He does not lie! He does not break covenants! Our God is faithful and someone we can trust! AMEN!!!

Persecution in INDIA NOW!!!

Churches burned, Christians slaughtered in India

Fri, 29 Aug 2008 - 3:35 PM CST

In what could be eerily compared to the massacre of men, women and children burned alive or hacked to death in rioting that occurred in Kenya earlier this year, Hindu mobs are rampaging throughout the Orissa region of India, burning churches with people still inside and hacking other Christians to death.

However, unlike Kenya, this outbreak of violence is linked totally to religion, and Christians are being hunted by Hindus who are methodically targeting, hunting and killing them wherever and whenever possible.

"We have never seen anything like this," reports a U.S. Assemblies of God minister in India, whose name is being withheld for safety. "We knew that Orissa was the most resistant and hostile state in India as far as the gospel is concerned . . . . But none of our staff imagined that they would see this kind of carnage."

The attacks stem from the slaying of a "militant" Hindu priest, Laxmanananda Saraswati, and four of his attendants this past Saturday. Although it is unclear who committed the murders, Christians were immediately targeted.

"In the past four [now 6] days, we have first hand witness to hundreds of churches being blown up or burned and many, many dozens of Christian tribals have been slaughtered," the minister states, who is in contact with native Christian leaders throughout the region. Police have been called out and have been able to protect some Christian locations, but many Christians have fled their churches, Christian centers and homes to the comparative safety of the jungle.

"The killing is expected to last at least 14 days," the minister explains, "supposedly the mourning period for the slain Hindu priest."

He goes on to explain that even though the police are out in force, the mobs are roving throughout the area, waiting for a chance to slip by police-protected areas to get at Christians. "More than 5,000 Christian families have had their homes burned or destroyed," he states. "Many believers have been killed and hacked into pieces and left on the road - even women and children."

Although India is mainly Hindu, with only 2 percent of the population being Christian, in the Kandhamal district of Orissa, an area of great violence, Christians reportedly make up 20 percent of the population. And now police have "shoot-at-sight" orders to help control the violence.

"We ask for your prayers," the minister says. "Only the hand of God can calm this storm . . . . this is spiritual warfare at its most basic meaning."

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN INDIA NOW!!!!!!!!! My good friend that I've known for a long time got in a car accident. Jo, she is 17. She wasn't wearing her seat belt and was thrown through the window. She laid on the side of the road for an hour until she was found. She was found by a family friend and he asked her if she could hear him, then he asked if she would respond by squeezing his hand because she wasn't talking. She squeezed his hand. They immediately life flighted her to the hospital. Now she is in intensive care and is in a indulsive coma! I am believing in healing for JO!!! PRAY FOR JO PLEASE!!! Pray for her! It was amazing! This year was my first year being a counselor for the youth. It was such a blessing to see God work in the lives of the youth this week at camp. Usually I would be just like any camper receiving things from the Lord, and being prayed for. But this week I was able to be used by God as a open vessel. He poured through me and I felt this unexplainable fire in my body. I was burning up and my tummy had a great tensity. I felt the power of God! This week it was also a blessing because my brother, and cousins Katie, and Beka were also leaders (counselors). Then again Nate is also the Youth Pastor of our church. We were all stepping into different roles that we had never stepped in before. We were all stretched by God and used for His glory. It was amazing! I was in total surrender and felt weak without God! He was the One that gave me strength when I felt like I had no idea what to do. There were times when I felt powerless. I was like “who am I to be doing this or praying like this?” But God gave me the words to say and the authority to do it! Because we have the authority of Jesus Christ when we have received Him inside of our hearts! Amen!
God gave me such boldness this week, it was unexplainable, and faith! Hallelujah! And oh...what freedom to dance in the presence of the Lord with complete abandonment! The fire fell down on nearly all of the youth! Many youth were set free of addictions, their past, chains that had been hindering them, words that had enslaved them, unforgiveness of those who had hurt them! PRAISE THE LORD!!! He heard our cries and he set the captives free. And now the youth are free to worship and free to dance! They are free to live for God! Amen!
God broke down the walls and the blindness the devil had placed over the eyes of the youth. He spoke life into them. He transformed hearts. He changed their lives and called them His own~! His blood covered them and wiped away every stain. Lives were dedicated to the Lord! :D
I want to praise God right now because my dear friend Remona was able to come to camp! She gave her heart to the Lord and then two days later was filled with the fire of the Spirit!!! :D How great it was to see God touch her life! What a blessing she is to me! I love her and her family! I was talking with Remona and I asked her, “Did you thank God for what He did for you tonight?” She said, “Yes, God loves me.” Haha : D Yes He does Remona!!! Amen! <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/SIIKiw59SbI/AAAAAAAAACA/xG7k5MlOyHw/s320/kidsandI.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224750110063020466" />

haha this photo has nothing to do with camp! The boy and girl asians are Cat Thereena, and Tharkudo (boy)! They are Remona's little brother and sister. The boy on my lap is named Steph. He lives in the same apartment complex as Remona. There are actually many kids living in the apartments. Many african, some from the middle east, american, and asian. I am praying for God to give me favor with their parents because I want the children to come to church. I am making friends with many of the african kids! :D They are such a blessing and so precious! haha :D

Blessings to you all! :D

TigerLily*

Pure Abandonment!

Hello everyone! I am so excited for summer! Cannot wait for all of the great things to happen with RFKC, Isaiah's ranch, working at the church with youth, children and doing clinic stuff...oh it's so exciting! Especially to see that God is moving in Boise, Idaho! :D If you haven't been watching you should: There is a healing revival going on in Florida with Todd Bentley! It's awesome and global! You can see it online, or TV; usually comes on between 5-9pm! God is doing amazing things! :D (then again He never stopped?..haha)
Anyway, what I want to talk about is something that's been on my heart and God is speaking to me. Tuesday morning we were having prayer in the sanctuary. I was praying and God began speaking to me about "running with abandonment"...then he spoke the verse in Hebrews 12:2 "let us throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles us; let us run with perseverence the race marked out for us, and let us fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith!" Another thing that has been on my heart is purity! I have been praying for purity in my mind, heart and every aspect of my being!
I want to be pure in thought and action! God has called us to be pure people; especially as leaders!
"running with abandonment..." abandon the things of this world, the things that hold you down, the sin that enslaves you! Abandon your comfort zone, your box that you are used to carrying around... abandon it all and "FIX your eyes on Jesus!" Trust that He is in control of your life!
When we abandon all of the hindrances in our lives and lay it down before Jesus, He will take care of us! There is no way to get off course if your eyes are Fixed on Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen! Let us run our race with Pure Abandonment! :D

okay, I'm done...hehe

TigerLily*

Expelled: No Intelligence Aloud!

Hey everyone, it's Rache*! Today I went and saw the movie "Expelled: No Intelligence Aloud!" It is basically stating how we in America are losing our freedom to talk about Intelligent Design in schools, businesses, and media. We are moving towards pushing religion completely out in every way..
I honestly didn't know much about this movie previously, but my grandparents invited my brother and I to see it. I decided to go and was disturbed but motivated. Motivated to do something about it! Motivated to pray for our country and for those that are blinded! The scientists that are so blinded by the lies of the devil! If you get a chance, go and see the movie...but I don't know how long it will be in theaters because so many people are against it.
They are already having protesters because of the message it shares!

Otherwise, if you aren't able to see the movie; pray for our country! Pray also for those scientists that are mislead and are misleading others.
Many in this world are blind!

Thankyou so much! :D God bless!

I love you all so much!!!

TigerLily*

SOLD OUT!!!

A couple weeks ago I was talking with God. Normally when I pray and speak with Him I come to Him with things on my heart or with prayer requests people have asked me to pray for. This particular day I felt lead to ask "God, what do you want me to pray for?"
As I asked Him, he showed me a picture that looked like a bookmark reading SOLD OUT!!! It was so vivid and haunted me... shown below (example of what I saw)

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/R_W1a3z1PxI/AAAAAAAAABs/Gn8_guLx5Dg/s320/SoldOut.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5185250019249569554" />

I did not know what this could mean..so I asked God "what is this? What does SOLD OUT mean?" I continued praying about it and God made it clear to me that this message was for this generation... That Christians would be SOLD OUT completely for Him!!!
Two days later God gave me three things "One Focus in life, One Purpose to live, and One Jesus to serve"... This is what it means to be SOLD OUT for Christ!!! We are to have One focus in this life! Have One purpose to live for! And Serve ONE JESUS!!! Today in America I am frustrated because I see many Christians being so lazy in their faith.
They are not SOLD OUT for Him! We come to church when it is convenient for us. Whereas in other countries they are willing to travel miles; BAREFOOT!
How far are Christians willing to travel to hear the words of God? Why do we come to church, for ourselves or for God?

Anyway...Nathan asked me to preach at youth last night. It was my first time ever and I was nervous....but God gave me such extreme boldness...like the apostles! The Holy Spirit worked in the service last night! He broke through lives but some still were afraid to commit their lives whole heartedly to Him! I am asking for prayer for the Christians of this generation to be SOLD OUT completely to Him!!!

Thank You so much and God Bless!!!! :D :D :D

I love you all!

TigerLily*

Myspace = Ministry

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/R7jleLO7IaI/AAAAAAAAABk/UnXpgon5zfk/s320/GlobeHands.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168132878981865890" />

Hey it's Tigerlily again! I hope and pray that Sue and Carolyn are doing great and continue being a blessing to children across this world. These mighty women of God are such an encouragement to me, I cannot say enough!
A few weeks ago I decided to begin to use Myspace in different ways. There is this search thing where you can search for people with similar interests. So I typed in "Christian/Jesus.." and up popped different profiles from different countries. There were some from Philippines, Africa, Asia, USA...etc. It was awesome!
I decided to make friends with some of these brothers and sisters across the world. I have been making contact with a few Christians that are doing God's ministry now. Specifically a girl named "Sheila Mae" in the philippines. She and her whole family are involved in the ministry and working as leaders in their church. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/R7jkorO7IZI/AAAAAAAAABc/wcQv3v_OPF0/s320/rehab.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168131959858864530" /> Also, I have made a brother in Christ named "Mike Omwaka" in Kenya, Africa. He is a worship leader, and has made a dance team to reach souls for Christ. He plans on travelling across the world to tell the youth about God. He is an encouragement to me. We have been talking a lot and he tells me that he received Jesus when he was 18 years old. He had a small radio by his bed, and would listen to Christian music; even before he was a Christian.
He heard John Hughe over the radio, and accepted Christ. People came and prayed over him while he was in bed. I really appreciate our friendship and decided to check out his country. What I saw was not good! On youtube, they have news video clips of Kenya, and there is a lot of violence because of elections. Also many women and children are living on the streets and being abused. Whether it's physically or sexually, all of it is happening there and is so wrong. IT bugs me! I want to do something about it~! <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/R7jkG7O7IYI/AAAAAAAAABU/Ds0lLbFWER4/s320/boy_lrg.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168131380038279554" />
Mike says all we can do is pray. But there is power in prayer right~! :D God cares about Africa and He cares about these children being abused. Please keep them in your prayers~! Pray also for Mike to be healed, receive provision for his ministry, and also for him to receive the Holy Spirit~! He has been praying for this and wants to use it to glorify God and benefit his ministry!

Bless you all, and know that I am praying for you! :D

Compassion – Make a Donation – Sponsor a Child

Get this widget!

...TigerLily

Let's not be "futile" Christians

What does it mean to be a "futile" Christian? Today I was doing my book work on the Gospel of John. For every lesson there are different key words. In this particular lesson, one of the key words was "futile". I had no idea really, what this word meant? I checked it out. Here is the definition: Futile; producing no result, serving no useful purpose, completely ineffective, pointless and fruitless.
Unlike many other definitions to previous key words, I could not pass by this one so quickly. It stuck with me. All day it has been in my mind. This is NOT what God has intended for us to be! We are to bear fruit, have purpose, be effective for Him, our life is not to be pointless but to point into the direction of Him! :D In everything we do.
Dear Jesus; may we NEVER become "futile" Christians!

Happy New Year! 2008

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/R4khNAAPl7I/AAAAAAAAABM/NpK8yacjF-M/s320/l_b26d5ba1bff152a79ddbe9502d3bd978.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5154687755725281202" />
Greetings everyone! :D

It's a new year full of great oppurtunity to be used by God! This year is going to be good, I just know it! I am praying for all of you to be blessed and used by God in someway! :D
Before the new year, around Christmas time; my grandpa asked my brother and I to help him with a task. We took a couple bus loads of people to this Christmas party at Boise Bible College. The majority of the people were black. A father and his son were from Baghdad, Iraq and there was two girls along with their brother from Burma/Thailand! Yes this is amazing! Many of the black people were kids. It was such a great privelage to be able to minister through our actions! Also many of these (maybe even all) are refugees that have come here and some many are Muslim. I was able to talk with the Thai girls about Thailand and Burma. It was such a blessing from God to begin a friendship with them.
As the eldest girl Juletanna, who is 16, and I talked she mentioned that we may never see eachother again. I asked her if she had myspace, or email and she did not.
Then she told me she had a telephone number. Hesitantly I asked for it and placed it in my cell phone. I did not know if they were able to give out their numbers or not? She asked where I lived and if I go to church. I told her that I go to Central Assembly church.
She said "I would love to go to church, but I have no way of getting there; I would have to walk a long way."
Then a thought popped into my mind, "would you like to go to church with me?"
"Yes!" She said.
So the next day I was able to pick up her, her sister Ramona, and their little siblings; who are 3 and 5 years old. We all crammed into my little green bug and headed off to church.
I tried speaking some Thai to them and that gave them great joy! :D haha, but it probably sounds different than it should.

I plan on taking them to church and ministering to them to the best of my ability, but I need God's help and prayer from others! This is such a wonderful opportunity God has given me! :D

If you could keep them in your prayers that would be great. I do not know if all are Christian or not. But the two girls are. They all live with their mom.

...TigerLily*

He's All I want....HE'S ALL WE NEED

.....I wish that every young person could watch this video. Christmas is coming up so soon! A little too soon for those who haven't done their shopping yet...haha
Well, let's catch up on current events. Just recently, about 3 weeks ago; my gramma King broke her shoulder. For those of you who don't know, my gramma King is my gramma Margaret's mom. (so actually she's a great gramma..) Anywho.
She fell out of bed and hit smack dab on the floor; which is really hard. The shoulder is such an awkward bone to break. They don't make casts for this part of the body. The doctor decided to place her in a sling.
He figures it will take 10 weeks max until her shoulder is completely healed. My gramma King, however, has Alzheimer's and forgets about her broken shoulder. So she will try to take the sling off! Not good!
The best suggestion was to have someone stay with her 24/7. Originally it was all my grampa and gramma. They are constantly with my grandma King. It can get a little tiresome after a while, so they asked for help. My mom took day shift from 8-12 and I took night shift from 8-8. It's been so great that I have been able to use my CNA training with my gramma King.
It's really tough sometimes to stay awake and also to see a different side of my gramma. I remember her as I grew up, always being an independent, hardworking, servant. It's hard for her to let other's help her and wait on her.
God has really given me patience to work with her; it's not always easy. Sometimes the call light becomes my best friend! :D ..haha
If you could remember my gramma King in your prayers, that would be wonderful! Sure, she is 91 years old; but then again, how old was Sarah when she had her baby? (from the Old Test.) haha... God can do anything!

I love you all and I hope you have a Blessed Christmas!!!

Merry CHRISTmas,

...Tigerlily*

Back in Idaho....

Hello, Hello! We found a computer that has internet access over here in Pattaya, Thailand. We have 6 more days left until we head home! God has been doing amazing things over here, and will continue it.
I have enjoyed my time over here. The children are so adorable and have such big smiles on their faces as we pass out candy to them! Many of the people from the village churches of Burma, and churches in Thailand; have stolen my heart.
We have been making friendships, and I was able to get some emails from those that spoke some english.
While we were in Burma, I met this girl named Florence; who goes by Fran. Her dad was one of our interpreters. She spoke very good english and was the age of 23 years old! She looked very young, and I was suprised to hear her age. She loves the Lord with all her heart! Fran and I were able to spend a lot of time together talking, and shopping at the Burma market; which was crazy!
I plan on staying in touch with her and hope to see her again! She told me about the persacution she has gone through in keeping her Christian faith in Burma.
It's so very encouraging to see the different churches enter into worship with all of their hearts. They really get into it! It would be nice to see the American churches get into worship with all of their hearts, as we have seen here.
Otherwise; your prayers are working and appreciated!

God Bless you all!

Karpoon Ca (thankyou)

...TigerLily*

THAILAND!!!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_QiYHygTekVE/RxGm6mo8zJI/AAAAAAAAAA0/TfftRRfSYY0/s320/100_0076.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5121057777031892114" />
Hello Everyone!!!

Just a quick update! Tomorrow morning, which will be October 14th; we are going to Thailand for 3 weeks! It's going to be a mission's trip and two other families will be going with us. The missionaries, and this family we know from a church we went to. It is going to be so AWESOME! I just know it!
Lookin' for good times and good results! There is a chance that we will be able to visit an AIDS orphanage. Also, we will be visiting small churches in villages; possibly a refugee camp, and places in Burma. The only problem with Burma, is this Monk riot that's been going on within the last couple weeks. We are still unsure if it is safe to cross the border or not? So please pray for safety, and that the borders will be open for us! There are people in Burma who need Jesus!
Also, we will be having some fun times; riding elephants, eating weird foods, shopping at the Night Bazaar, and visiting cool attractions!
We definitely need your prayer! There will be opportunities to minister, teach, and work with kids! A lot of prayer folks! I'm really nervous, but He'll come through.

Hope to share all of the joy, and memories when we return!

Blessings,

...TigerLily*

P.S. the photo has nothing to do with our trip! haha; but isn't she cute! It have spent many sleepless nights because I feel the Lord trying to get a hold of me. He has place certain things on my heart to pray for, or certain people. Two Sundays ago from today, I was in church. We were worshiping and I began praying; but was unable to talk. So usually when I can't figure out how to communicate with God, I use my prayer language. As I was speaking in tongues, emotions began to well up. The music was getting softer, and I felt like God wanted me to say something to the Congregation.
I had never felt like this before, or done anything like this; so to not be disruptive I left the service and went into the Ladies restroom. While I was in there; I started weeping and speaking in tongues. The words came out very forceful; so forceful that I held my stomach.
I still wonder what someone would have done if they came into the bathroom and heard speaking in tongues coming from the stall? haha Anyway. After the service I told my dad that something was right with me. He gave me a funny look, but then I explained. He had me meet with Pastor Ted and talk to him about what happened. I told him everything and asked if it would be okay to share what God had put on my heart for the church. He agreed; but told me that God would try to use me again. Also, that I needed to respond, or else God could give the gift to someone else.
Not wanting to let that happen; I chose to respond. The next Sunday after that my family and I were in Montana. So nothing happened. But today we went to church. And I knew that it was going to happen sometime during service because I was unable to sleep all last night. There was such a heaviness of the Holy Spirit on me.
All morning my stomach had been sour. Probably because of nerves. Sue had made it in town for Pastor Charm's birthday, so that was great to see her! We talked for a little bit, then she got back to helping her dad.
Worship began and I started to sing. But I was unable to sing or speak in tongues well. It was like, nothing could come out until the right time. This was so foreign to me? I just wanted to be used by God and Him to take control!
At the right time, when Kevin had just finished saying something and worship was quiet; I was able to speak in tongues. The Lord took control and began speaking through me. Hoping that someone had the interpretation or that God would give me the words; as soon as it stopped, a lady from the other side of the church spoke. God used her to interpret.
I was overcome, once again with emotion and weeping. That was so cool, to know that God came through. He is faithful and spoke through someone else. It was a blessing.
No one can break my heart like God. This is in a good way. He ultimately breaks me...and brings me to a place where I am humbled. All I can say is thank you God. You are faithful. May we be obedient in the church when God wants to use us for His purpose!

.....TIgerLily*

If you have had anytype of experience like that, or have any advice/wisdom to pass on; please share! It has been a long, ENJOYABLE summer this year! Some of it hasn't been easy, but for the most part it has been a blast!
Over the summer I have been taken a summer course at BSU, in order to get my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate. This course has been very CHALLENGING, but God brought me through it. Now that I've passed the class, there are two more state tests that need to be taken. One is written, and the other based on skills learned in the class. It's going to be pretty tough!
One of the requirments for the CNA class is doing 40 hours of clinical hours. We were able to choose where we wanted to do our clinicals, out of a certain list, and if we wanted to do it at more than one place.
I have to admit, working for that first 8 hour shift was PRETTY tough. I thought to myself, "how could anybody work 8 hours straight?" But it got easier as time went along.
The first two 8 hour shifts I did were at the Veterans Home in downtown Boise. Some of those guys completely STOLE my heart. On the otherhand, some were really FIESTY~!
The rest of my 8 hour shifts were done over at the Boise Health and Rehab. I guessed I liked it because I ended up doing more than the required 40 hours there.

After being exposed to the medical field, and being able to see what CNA's do as opposed to RNs; it had made me question whether or not this was the best choice for me? I started asking myself, "is this really what I want to do with the rest of my life?" That question haunted me throughout the summer. I didn't know how to bring it up around my parents, or anyone else.
So...as the end of the year drew closer, I decided to bring up the topic with my dad. He didn't freak out, suprisingly. We talked through things, then my mom and Nate came in to join the discussion.
The decision came to not attending Northwest this year. And choosing a different major. While working my Clinical hours, I realized how much contact the CNA's had with the patients, and that's what made working so great! The RN's were the ones doing all the paper work and passing out of the Meds.
...."God has got to have bigger plans for me than this?!".......There is a huge desire that has always been on my heart, and that is what drew me to the Medical field. To help, serve, and work with people. Also to TRAVEL! While doing my clinical hours, there were many opportunities for me to talk about God with the CNA's. So, I did. This was the enjoyable part about it! Being a light, sharing about God, and hearing their stories. Some have been through alot!
This year my brother and I will be doing online school, called Global University. Nate is going for his Pastoral degree, and I'm going to be going for my Missions degree. MISSIONS have always been on my heart. What more exciting way to spend your life, than to travel the world and tell others about God! Having my CNA will open up doors overseas and has room to expand.
...The big question is, could those warning signs be from God? You bet!

...signing off TigerLily*

"ketchup"

...titled this one Ketchup, because there's a lot we need to catch up on...lol! Okay, kind of left you hanging there for a moment. My mom made it through her surgery, unfortunately the surgeon accidently tore her bladder. They gave her a catheter to wear for one week and glued the insicion. At first she was really weak looking, and tired. The color of her skin was pale, and she did not look too good. After a few days, her face began to get back to normal, and she was able to come home from the hospital.
It took a week or so until she was able to get back on her feet, and now she has started driving again. The recovery period has been going pretty quickly, and she is doing well! Thanks to all of God's work, and your prayers!
I have to be honest though, it was really tough seeing my mom in a helpless position. "She's supermom, she can't be sick!" My mom is having surgery and is NEED of prayer. The doctor, and nurses, will be taken out her uterus for a Hysterectomy* (hopefully that's spelled right?) She is a little nervous, as you could imagine. The doctor says she will be in bed for 6-8 weeks and will be very sore, tired, achy, and exhausted. That is not a pretty combination. So it would be great if you could keep her lifted up in prayer, and also keep my dad in prayer. We are all having to adjust to this, but it is a necessary procedure. Thank you so much for your willingness to pray, it is greatly appreciated!

...Tigerlily*

CNA Class!

....Why am I in school again? This was the first thought that came to my mind when I woke up this morning. Today was the beginning of my summer CNA classes.

Four hours long, one teacher, and a lot of information. It's going to be a challenge, but challenge is fun! Can't imagine a life without challenges? My teacher has been working in health care for 36 years and has had a lot of training. It's pretty cool! She's honest and very up front with how dangerous of a field this is.

She's already giving us advice of how to defend ourselves, "learn how to duck" she says.

Yep, this is going to be an adventure! We are required to do 40+ hours of clinical work outside of the classroom. We have to recieve above 80% on our exams and each student gives a 15 min. presentation for the class. (ahh!) The coolest part is, for our dress code in class she wants us to look professional. Now, when I heard that I thought, "no, please don't make us wear dresses or skirts!" Instead she says, come to class in scrubs!

Pretty awesome, because scrubs are practically the most comfortable clothing around, besides pajamas! Lol

All in all, there are around 20 students in my class. Half of them are married or have children. But they are a fun group of people! I think it's going to be a good experience. Thank you to all who are praying! It is greatly appreciated!

...TigerLily*

One year down...who know's what's next?!

Okay, so I just recently finished my first year of College. The cool thing is...I never have to be a freshmen again! But, there's still much work to be done in order to go into the medical field. Ahhh! Just kiddin', it should be a blast, as well as a challenge.
God has definitely put me in life changing moments this past year of college. I've had to make decisions that impacted my future and those around me. Life can be tough! But it's how you face those challenges that really defines who you are as a person.
I made mistakes... I made good choices...and I've been stretched. He's not done yet and that's the cool part! Today Sue and Deanne Carpenter met me for coffee at a really cool place! They've remodeled this church and transformed it into a coffee place. The name is Rembrandts! You should check it out, in Eagle,ID if you ever get the chance. (try the Kat's Meow)
We had a great time just catchin' up on the last year and hearing about eachother's past experiences. Sue talked about her and Carolyn's experience in Cambodia and Malaysia! Which was amazing! God is doing awesome work in the lives of the children in Cambodia!
Deanne shared about this special event called the Black Ball. It's a type of fund raiser for those who are involved in Royal Family Kids Camp. They had a couple testimonies from those who had previous gone to camp as a camper. Apparently this was the first time they've had
testimonies shared at the Black Ball?! Pretty Cool!

Otherwise, seems like Sue and Deanne (two crazy gals..lol) are doing well. But it doesn't hurt to keep them in prayer! Sue and Carolyn have a full summer of ministry in store for them and they could use allot of support! So let's keep them in prayer!

Blessings,

...TigerLily*

P.S. I begin classes with BSU on Monday 21st of May for my CNA (certified nursing assistant). To be honest, I'm really nervous and could use prayer.

Thanks*

New New New!

Hey Everyone!
